  • Issues, risks and perspectives

The knowledge acquired in the course is deepened and consolidated through practical experiments.

Qualifikationsziele
Winter Semester:

This course provides an introduction for engineering students to industrial chemistry including subjects such as the structure of matter, the Periodic Table, properties and reactivity of chemical compounds. Equipping engineering students to be able to produce correct formulae and writing full balanced chemical equations. The students learn fundamental principles of common analysis methods. The students are introduced to current topics and problems in industrial chemistry. They are directed to explore different concepts in chemistry by applying engineering problem-solving approaches to open ended problems.
