Qualifikationsziele

The main objective of the module is to understand the mathematical modeling of real life problems usingnetworks and to apply the network models in solving practical problems. Fundamental mathematical(graph theory) tools are used in the study of networksas well as measures and statistics for quantifyingnetwork structure. The students also learn and implement some network algorithms.
