I Translation and writing skills (German) (Linda Dutenhaver / Klaus Bergmann)

Translation exercises based on articles from the German and French press covering subjects such as the environment, health , the economy, politics, culture and society.

II Comprehension and expression skills (German) (Jörg Ulbert)

Each class will be divided into 2 seperate parts. During the first part of the class students will be expected to make an oral presentation. The content and subject matter of these presentations will then be the subject of a class discussion. The second part of the class will be given over to a number of practice exercises  in comprehension skills. These practice exercises will be based on articles taken from the German press.

The topics covered by both the oral presentations and the practice exercises will reflect the areas and subject matters dealt with in the Master’s course as a whole.
