The students will know typical Information Systems and system architectures of Enterprise Application Systems. They are able to analyse existing Information Systems and they are able to specify their demand for functionalities of new Information Systems. Students will know the pitfalls in the communication with IT-departments regarding the goal to provide an Information System with the specified functionalities. The students will know how to deal with changes in the enterprise process landscape if new Information Systems are implemented leading to impacts in the operation of processes.

Die Studierenden kennen typische Informationssysteme und Systemarchitekturen für Unternehmensanwendungen. Sie sind in der Lage, existierende Informationssysteme zu analysieren und die Anforderungen an die Funktionalitäten in neuen Informationssystemen zu spezifizieren. Die Studenten werden die Hürden bei der Kommunikation zwischen Fachabteilung und IT-Abteilung kennen, die eine erfolgreiche Implementierung von Informationssystemen verhindern können. Die Studenten kennen Möglichkeiten, mit denen Veränderungen in den Unternehmensprozessen bei dem Einsatz neuer Informationssysteme erfolgreich auf der operativen Prozessebene umgesetzt werden können.
