The students are introduced to the topic of operational information systems for product development and business process management. Tasks, IT architecture, interfaces and basic design rules for information systems are presented.

In addition, the students deepen important basics of the planning model, communication mechanisms and structures of data organization, which are necessary for the further imparting of application knowledge and skills in the field of business information systems.
