Instruction content/structure

Selection and definition of a topic for the Master Project (upon consultation with supervisors)

Master Thesis compilation

Discussion of content and methodology and regular status reports with supervisors in both the native language and one foreign language

Presentation of the most relevant theories of the Master Project in both the native language and one foreign language

A written copy of the final Master Thesis in a language agreed upon with the first tutor with included a summary of 15 pages in English.

If the thesis has been written in English, the language of the summary will be fixed with the second tutor.

Presentation of the Thesis in English and discussion in one or more languages agreed upon with the examination board.

Qualification objectives

The students will provide evidence that they are able to comprehend and discuss academic research questions using real-life situations and scientific research methods to support their arguments.

The students will show the skills required to develop empirical research tools and to compile practical solutions and proposals.

They will be able to analyse the status and the results of the research, to correctly document empirical data and to interpret the results.  Furthermore, they will be able to present their findings appropriately and to discuss them in their native language and in a foreign language.

Special admission requirements

Completion of all previous modules required according to the examination regulations.

A passing grade in the Czech State Exams
