    • State-of-the-art in domestic and global business and economics
    • Major organization patterns and developments (R&D, QA, PS)
    • Setting up a successful business (start-up support)
    • Development of the project- and product life-cycle, project work and management
    • Customer care (acquisition, communication, project development and follow-up)
    • Human resources (staff recruitment, relocation, assignments, outsourcing)
  • Developing Cultural Awareness
    • Cultural values at work and in society
    • Management of time and space in global project settings
    • Hotspots and critical incidents (project case studies on various cultures)
  • Practising oral and written academic and business genres (adapted to students’ needs)

Qualification objectives

- English fluency (level C1 or higher, CEFR) in communicating professional, business and project-
  related issues

- Strategies to avoid or cope with miscommunication in multicultural communication settings

- Awareness of the role of verbal, nonverbal and paraverbal communication patterns

- Effective information retrieval and management in multicultural business and project settings

- Effective management of selected academic, business and technical genres both in written and oral
  formats
