In this course you will learn more about the following topics:

- Fundamentals of bluff-body flows

- Development tools for aerodynamics: road test, wind-tunnel testing, CFD

- Specifics of passenger car aerodynamics including issues related to e-mobility

- Aerodynamics of trucks and busses

- Selected topics on race-car aerodynamics

Qualification objectives

After successful accomplishment of this course you will be aware of major development objectives when designing aerodynamically
efficient vehicles as well as when designing performance-oriented vehicles. Your will gather professional knowledge on aerodynamic
engineering techniques and devices especially for passenger cars. Based on your expertise on aerodynamic development tools including
their respective advantages and shortcomings you are able to selected an appropriate method for a given engineering task.
