Instruction content/structure

I a  Traduction et rédaction (Gwyn Jones)

Translation skills, working on the structure of how to write and say exactly what we want, and the skills necessary in order to argue and debate, are all essential if we are working on projects and project management in a competitive European environment

I b Traduction et rédaction (Marion Lagan)

Classes will be based on texts in English from either the European Union or the media dealing with the main topics of the course from a British/Irish perspective.

Finally, students will be required to write summaries of the texts in French in order to increase their analytical and writing skills.

II Compréhension et expression (Marion Lagan)

In this course, students will practice communication for a wide range of professional and academic purposes, integrating listening and speaking skills in English.

Students will also create presentations on topics related to project management, European and international programs and organisations

III Summarizing a set of documents in English (Benoît Cointo)

The students have to be able to produce a neutral and organized summary of several articles from the English language press dealing with the same topic. They should report the key arguments developed in the different texts and highlight the different views expressed
