Higher-dimensional calculus (representation of functions, partial derivatives, tangent plane, total differential, error calculus, gradient, local extrema) 

Higher-dimensional integration (double and multiple integrals in diverse coordinates, applications) 

Differential equations (Basics, separable variables, linear inhomogeneous differential equations of first and second order, applications, Introduction to PDE’s and numerical schemes) 

Least Squares method and approximation 

Stochastics (random events, probability, discrete and continuous random variables, distribution function, expected value, variance, special distributions with applications, random vectors, covariances and correlation) 

Statistics (point estimators, interval estimators, tests)

Qualification objectives

Extended knowledge of mathematical methods in Engineering and Economics, Skills of application of advanced techniques in Analysis and basic methods in Stochastics and Statistics, Training of problem solution in exercises, Abilities of modelling of technical problems and interpretation of solutions
