In-depth presentations of the accumulated experience of renowned experts from all areas of computer science, related scientific fields and related business areas for example, on:

  • Development and operation of distributed information systems
  • Evaluation and implementation of technology trends in the context of digital transformation
  • Setting up an (IoT) company
  • Project management of teams in practice
  • Development of scientific careers
  • Data protection and data security in Germany and Europe
Qualification objectives

Students will be familiar with current developments in industry and research and with concrete applications of IoT and smart technology in various areas of science, business and society.

In the lecture series, students take in concrete field reports from renowned experts from science and practice and place them in their existing knowledge of methods and concepts. They are able to reflect and classify concrete positioning and opinions.

Die Studierenden kennen die aktuellen Entwicklungen in den wesentlichen Bereichen der Informatik (besonders im Bereich der Anwendungsentwicklung) und sind mit speziellen Aspekten der Anwendung von Konzepten und Methoden der Informatik in anderen Bereichen von Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft vertraut.
