The practical module creates a close connection between studies and later professional practice. During this time, the student should use the knowledge they have acquired during their studies as part of a specific project, usually in a company from the public or private sector. The development of  expertise, learning to work scientifically, the evaluation, documentation and presentation of results are important learning objectives. Flexibility, team spirit and interdisciplinary working methods should be trained. The student also gains in-depth insights into technical, organisational and business context of a company. Having scientific discussions with supervisors and working with colleagues will strenghten the communications skills.
