Qualification objectives

The aim of the module is to develop detailed knowledge and basic understandings of decision making theory, the formation of theoretical and applied ideas about existing methods of decision making processes in conditions of risk and / or uncertainty, obtaining skills in solving practical problems. Upon completion of the module, students will be able to independently process and analyze data for decision making under conditions of uncertainty; select methodology and tools for decision making under risk and use different approaches to decision making under many criteria; evaluate the key principles of the decision-making framework and analyze the different paradigms used to explain decision-making explaining the strength and weakness of each framework.
