Qualification objectives

The objective of this subject is to form a system of knowledge and competencies about the professional activity of a university teacher and his professional self-development. Furthermore, students form theoretical knowledge about the essence of higher school pedagogy and its role in the activity of the teacher. They learn about innovative processes in higher education and their generation;. Moreover students shall develop the skills and abilities of applying modern educational approaches, technologies, and methods in the educational process of higher education to carry out professional pedagogical activities on the basis of psychological and pedagogical knowledge of higher school pedagogy. Students will be ready to conduct comprehensive psychological and pedagogical research in the field of higher school pedagogy; conduct effective self-educational activities for self-reflection and self-development of a higher school teacher.
