Qualification objectives

The course aims at equipping students with the enhanced understanding, knowledge and skills necessary forvalid and reliable research in management, finance and marketing. Special attention will be paid to employing the methods of qualitative and quantitative research while exploring essential issues in management, finance and marketing. Throughout the course students will be exposed to the principles of planning an academic piece of work; they will study the systems of citation, referencing, creating footnotes and comments. The students will also study different research paradigms, research methodologies and tools necessary to conduct valuable research. The course will help the students to write methodologically and academically valid course works or conduct research, meeting the requirements of a Master’s thesis.
