This subject connects students with scientists and practitioners from various fields. In this framweork will student slisten to in-depth presentations of the accumulated experience of renowned experts and practitioners from all areas of management, business & information systems and computer science.

The topics of the experts will relate to current topics in the field of management, business & information systems, and computer science. Therefore, managers, accountants, consultants, software engineers, data analysts, and scientific researchers will be invited to share their expert perspectives on a specific topic and illustrate their daily work. Students from each partner university will listen to at least 10 presentations from different experts. Furthermore, students will get the possibility to discuss the presented topics with researchers and connect with them.

This will help the students to accomplish the exam performance, which is to write a scientific essay on master-level. Therefore, students must individually choose a topic, deduct a research question and methodology, and follow scientific publication guidelines.

In addition, students will have an extended self-study period to prepare questions for the expert talks and conduct qualitative research on their topics. Furthermore, have students always the possibility to discuss their status quo of the essay with the lecturer.

  • Skills of CEOs and CFOs in the digital area
  • Business and Predictive Analytics

  • Leading strategies in the 21st century
  • Corporate Change Management and Digital Transformation
  • Project management of (agile) teams in practice
  • Software Engineering
  • Data Mining and Machine Learning
  • Artificial Intelligence and different use cases
Qualification objectives

In the series of events, students take in concrete reports on the experiences of renowned experts from science and practice and place them in their existing knowledge of methods and concepts of management. They can reflect and classify concrete positioning and opinions.

Students will further develop their understanding of the tasks, instruments and tools of management, business & information systems and computer science in an integrated and interdisciplinary manner.

Furthermore, shall students connect with practitioners and experts, which will help them with their future careers and current research.

Moreover, students will apply their gained research and publication skills to write a scientific essay at master level which should relate to the presented topics of the experts. Therefore, students can choose from various up-to-date and practice-relevant research fields. The research should focus on an interdisciplinary approach connecting the disciplines of management, business and information systems, and computer science. In addition, students will independently choose a specific topic, discuss the research idea and methodology with the lecturer and prepare questions for the discussion round with the experts. This will enhance the discussions' quality and support the students in writing high-quality essays.

A further goal of the course is to convey practice-oriented teaching content beyond traditional university courses. This is ensured by the didactic form of workshops, the direct processing of practical questions as well as a high share of presentation and discussion parts. Furthermore, in addition to the technical qualifications, students acquire and deepen essential key qualifications, such as teamwork, communication, conflict management, argumentation, and presentation skills.

The lecture is shared with all partner universities. It will be tried to stream all lectures virtually. The individual wishes of the speakers have to be considered. Moreover, will all partner universities acquire experts and practitioners as speakers for this lecture. Therefore, will students connect with experts and practitioners transnationally.
