  • Fundamentals of systems and software architecture

  • Dashboards for special application scenarios
  • Case studies on IoT scenarios and graphical data analysis
Qualification objectives

Students know about architectural styles of software-intensive systems and related architectural patterns. They can analyze and evaluate a given architecture based on software quality aspects (ISO 25010). Students can analyse and design complex IoT setups. They know different data protocols and are able to configure the communication between devices. The students are familiar with various forms of visualization and can design dashboards for different purposes.
