Qualification objectives

Students understand the importance and principles of sustainable mobility. They will be able to derive and implement sustainable mobility strategies. Students are familiar with environmentally friendly modes of transport but also the structure and operating processes of rail transport in accordance with EBO and BoStrab. In addition, students acquire knowledge of the key aspects of private transport (including planning principles for cycling) and local public transport. They understand the targets and definition of electomobility. Students understand the importance of traffic management centers and have knowledge of the development of sustainable mobility concepts. They also have a practical insight into the work of traffic engineers.
